is the operating name for the Gary S. Stevens Foundation, sanctioned by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable, private operating foundation, we offer educational coaching programs and services for young adults.

arose out of the recognized need for coaching for young adults between the ages of 16 and 24.

This new generation, dubbed "the Millennials" represents roughly 26,000,000 people in the United States alone.

's governing board made a conscious decision to afford young men and women the ability to receive life coaching based on two criteria:

  • a desire/willingness to discover themselves and take action to support their life choices and

  • be 16 - 24 years of age.

Who is allowed to coach for  ?

All of our coaches are paid or volunteer.  Each one has graduated from a certified and accredited coaching school and has spent at least 250 hours coaching individuals or groups.   Each coach is a member of the International Coach Federation and subscribes to the professional ethics of coaching.  If you are a coach looking to volunteer or work as an employee of the GSSF and meet the minimal qualifications listed above, please use our contact us form.

Does   accept  donations?

Yes, the Gary S. Stevens Foundation accepts charitable donations.  We do not solicit donations or fundraise.  For more information, please contact us.

Who does coach?

We coach men and women who are 16 -24 years of age.  GoYOU.org coaches adults 25 years of age or older.

Are there any special criteria to be a client?

If you mean do you have to be of a certain, color, race, creed, gender, sexual persuasion or disability.  No.  To attend a tele-seminar, you just register.  To receive individual or internet coaching; you  make application - your essay is what counts.  We offer programs for 16 - 24 year olds here at Go-YOUth and for those 25 and over at www.GoYOU.org

Why separate the two age groups?

We made the conscious choice to give young adults a place to work through life transitional issues special to them.  By separating the age groups we can diversify our tele-seminars and workshops  to offer young adults topics they want to learn more about.

What are you looking for in applicants?

Your application essay will tell us a bit about you, where you are and what and how you believe you'd like to set goals for yourself in our working relationship.  The decision to create a coaching relationship is a mutual one between the client and the coach.  We are looking for bright, active, resourceful people who truly want to learn and grow through conscious change at this point in their lives.

How much does this cost?

Our life coaching services are free to registered users and applicants.  (Generally hiring a life coach would cost an individual between $250 and $1250 monthly.  To participate in group coaching, $150 - $300 and internet or email coaching the fee's vary widely.)    provides life coaching services at no cost to our clients.

Aren't there any costs involved?

Costs involved with connecting to your coach, (phone or internet) are yours.  There are no hidden charges or programs to purchase to work with us.  If a call to your coach is long distance, those charges are yours to bear. Any internet chat program we use is free to download.  MSN and Yahoo Messenger are our preferred "chat" programs for internet based coaching.

Why are the life coaching services free?

and    are the operational outreach of a charitable, private operating foundation, incorporated in the State of Minnesota and recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c)(3), tax exempt organization.  The Gary S. I can't make it to an appointment with my coach, what do I do?

asks each client to make their best efforts to notify their coach at least 24 hours in advance of a change in schedule.  If you miss two calls, without advance notice, we will terminate our coaching relationship with you.  You are important and making time each week to meet with your coach is equally important.  If you are unable to keep your appointment because of an emergency event, we remain flexible.  Because of the volume of applicants we may have on a wait list, we ask for the mutual respect the situation calls for.
